Wedding Time!!

Two weekends ago Caleb made his debut as a ring bearer. He was awfully cute. We couldn't capture great pictures, but can't wait to see what the actual wedding photographer got! Between the bride and the mothers of the ring bearers ordering pictures, this photographer is going to stay in business for awhile.
This is a good action shot of Caleb...he did kinda just take off at the end, swinging his pillow all over the place...thank goodness they were not in charge of the rings or there would have been a mad search for them in the middle of the ceremony.
Caleb and I after the ceremony - all decked out with a party to get to!
This is a picture from the rehearsal the night before the wedding.
And in a retro pic, here is a picture of us when Caleb was 3 weeks old. My how things change.

First Hair Cut

As you can tell from the previous post and the picture below, Caleb was in serious need of a haircut. He had been sporting long locks for awhile, but he was asked to be in a wedding and no serious ring bearer has a mullet.
August and I decided to do the honors at home. It was pretty easy as we didn't cut too much off. Just trimmed up the back and the front...
...threw in a few layers...

...and voila! A new style for Caleb.

Back to Blogging!

I've got a lot of blogging to catch up on. For starters, here is a super cute picture of Caleb posing with his train set made by Grandpa Scott. He's finally gotten into scooting cars/trains/trackers around on the ground - the stuff big boys do when they play.

18 Months - Well really almost 19!

Our friend Joe emailed me today demanding a 3 peas update, so here are some pictures that will hopefully satisfy the masses. Caleb has been up to all sorts of things lately. The biggest change has been the talking. He'll repeat any word that you ask and sometimes it even sounds right. My favorites are waffle, yellow, and cracker.

Good times with a fork.
Even better times being pushed around on the top of tin. That dad is so creative.
Bubble Mustache!
This is a good place for Caleb to stay while I get things done.
Pictures from Antioch park
Grandpa came to visit a couple weeks ago and brought fig newtons. Caleb wouldn't stop bugging him all weekend for more and more cookies. I'm guessing Grandpa didn't have any left for the car ride back to Wyoming.
Caleb and Grandpa in ball caps...they both share the same expression of "please stop with the photos, let us go outside and play already." We can't wait for you to come back to visit...and bring Grandma Kate!

17 Months!

Caleb is 17 months now. He's running, jumping (almost!), saying lots of things, repeating lots of things, has survived two double ear infections, and has quite the personality. He's a sweet boy who likes to give out tight hugs and lots of kisses. He makes us laugh constantly and I think makes himself laugh a bit too. And he's finally figured out how to pet Molly "gently".
Here he is playing with Papa...this kid loves to be spritzed with water. He was getting the biggest laugh out of it.
Caleb is a huge fan of balloons...huge fan.
Just a couple sweet pictures.

Trip to the Park

We've been going to the playground down the street a lot lately. We particularly like to go after dinner so Caleb can get some energy out before bedtime. It was crazy to see him go down the slide on his own for the first time. There have been a lot of things that have made me think "Wow, he's not a baby anymore." But none so much as seeing him climb up onto the playground equipment and go down that slide all on his own. What a big kid!!

Nana's Visit

Nana came t visit over Easter weekend. We had a great time outside shooting hoops and watering plants. The weather was gorgeous. Come back and visit soon!
