nkklsssskkk bb g

Caleb helped me title this post. He loves to bang on the keyboard.

Here are some great pictures that the ladies at daycare took of Caleb being goofy in his crib (which as you can tell has plexiglass sides).

Enjoy!

Caleb tries blogging

The computer is still thinking about filing assualt charges.

Learning to crawl can be frustrating at times

And somewhat exhausting

It definitely helps to have Dad hook you up with a nice back scratch

9th Months!

Caleb turned 9 months yesterday! Below is a video of Caleb in a giggle fit...the perfect example of how his personality is growing and growing. He continues to amaze us every day.

As Caleb perfects his army crawl, August and I are getting used to a mobile child. He's proven that he's capable of leaving the room without us and has found Molly's dog food. His mobility is definitely making me more aware of keeping the floors clean and we're in the throws of baby-proofing the house. He's also starting to pull himself up - we're thinking that will be the next big thing!

Caleb is also talking all the time now - lots of da-da's, the occasional ma-ma, and many screeches thrown in for good measure.

Caleb being goofy.

Caleb has taken up the habit of putting his feet straight out when being set down.

Introducing the Fro

It's been a quiet week for us in Overland Park. This weekend August's Aunt Deborah was in town to help Dan with his work. It was great to see her again and catch up.

Caleb has slowly but surely been finding new ways to move around. His belly scooting abilities make it possible for him to move all over and his blond fro (the mohawk has evolved) makes it possible for us to find him quickly. We're also trying to get him used to being on his hands and knees, but he has yet to make any type of effort towards crawling. I think for now, he's just fine either shimmying around or sitting.

Caleb and his starfish bath toy...one of his great loves.

Caleb loves to play the keyboard at Grandma and Papa's house.

Another great 4th of July picture.

Blogging - I need to do that!

After eight months of thinking "I need to do that", I've finally created a blog! I'm excited to keep everyone up-to-date on what's happening with the three of us and Molly!

First of all, happy late 4th of July! We had a great weekend here. August's Uncle Dalton and Aunt Lenora and their three kids, Isabella, Rebecca, and Troy were in town and we celebrated with a day at the Village Festival and pool.

Here is Caleb checking out the kangaroo at the petting zoo. He's got the standing thing down as long as he's hanging on to something...in this case, a dirty cage.

Caleb with his cousins once removed: Troy, Rebecca, and Isabella.
They all got free helmets at the Village Festival...Caleb will be growing in to his.

Caleb definitely enjoyed the pool. It was a beautiful, yet cloudy day and he just sat and played in the water. We imagine he wondered why all baths weren't this fun.

More pictures of us enjoying the visit with family.

Grandpa Page also celebrated his 90th birthday on Monday. We were able to go celebrate with him on Sunday...Caleb seems to relate very well to his great-grandpa.
Happy Birthday Grandpa!!
