Molly

It's been while since we've see Molly on the blog.  She's been living the life of a dog in a household with two young children - aka, she doesn't get much attention (but she still gets her daily walk courtesy of August).  So it had been awhile since Molly had been groomed and brushing her only made her look nice for about 10 mins.  So yesterday August took her to be groomed and she got the Top Dog package.  I don't think I've ever seen her look cuter.  I had to post a couple pictures to show off the bows that they attached to her upper front legs.  Those cracked me up!

Trip to Wyoming

Alice and I visited Lander to meet our new niece/cousin Anabel.  What a sweetie.  And yes, her hair is completely amazing.  I just couldn't help myself from commenting on it all the time (which I'm pretty sure annoyed my sister because that's all she ever hears!).  It was a wonderful visit and we started missing everyone the instant we stepped out of the van at the aiport.  We can't wait to see everyone again in July!

Some pictures of dinner at my brothers.  He made us a FANTASTIC meal (see menu below).  All of it was delicious.  Thank you Matt especially for the pea sauce, which I'm postive is a universal sauce which should be served on everything.

And of course some cutie-patootie pictures of Alice and Anabel.  A hilarious story - Asha (my brother's fiance's daughter) came to visit the girls one afternoon and was getting confused by which one was Alice and which one was Anabel.  She knew Alice was older, but Anabel had more hair...so she concluded that Anabel was really Alice.  It makes sense to me that the one with more hair should be older!

And of course a picture of Sam from the visit. He was so sweet the entire time, even when he was pretending to be an alligator chomping on my arm.  Miss you Sam!

5 Months

Alice has turned 5 months and is growing like a weed.  She's currently a pro at rolling over and prefers to sleep on her side.  We've started her on cereal (see picture) and we're almost to the point where more goes in her tummy than on her bib.  We're now working on mastering the skill of sitting up.  Oh and did I mention Alice is a complete chatterbox?  She just talks and talks.  She'll chat your ear off if you let her, which we do.

Easter

The Easter Bunny is already on summer vacation, but I'm so behind in posts that's it's still Easter on Four Peas.  Here are some pictures of Caleb dying Easter eggs.  We lost quite a few colors as the containers got tipped over one by one.  It's a learning process.  Best Caleb quote to date, "I'm makin' jelly beans!!"

Caleb was quite the hunter...he can spot an egg from a mile away.  Check out his haul!
Nana was in town for Easter weekend.  We had a great time playing at the lake.  Love you Nana!

4 Months - Errr, Almost 5!

Alice is almost 5 months, so before that day comes...which is tomorrow...here are the pictures we took when she turned 4 months.  Time is flying by!  We were at a baby shower for friends a couple weekends ago and I was telling everyone that Alice was almost 4 months old. "Wow, she's advanced for her age!" another mother said.  "I know!" I replied.  Then as we were leaving I realized that I'd been lying about Alice's age...but she's still advanced to me!
