Hair

Ever since he was born, Caleb has proven that he has amazing hair. His infant mohawk has grow into an all out shag cut...and it can fly.

Frozen Solid

It's definitely winter at the lake. The water is frozen solid, at least along the shore line. It's pretty with all the snow, but we're looking forward to summer!

Pictures, pictures, pictures

I'm pretty sure that everyone just wants to see pictures, so here are a TON. Alice is five weeks old now and we've been having a wonderful time together. In the past couple of weeks we've had lots of out of town guests including Grandpa and Grandma Kate and Aunt Ellen. It's been so much fun having everyone visit and get to know Alice. Alice has been smiling a lot, cooing, and is lifting her head when she does tummy time. With the second baby it's easy to forget how important all of these milestones are so we're making sure each one is duly noted...this time I'll try to keep up with the baby book (and maybe even finish Caleb's before going back to work).

Caleb reading in bed. His new favorite book is Green Eggs and Ham, or "Ham" as he calls it. He believes that cousin Sam is the actual Sam I Am...which who's to say he isn't.

Just pics

I wanted to just post some cute pictures of Alice as she embarks on her 4th week of life.

Here is Alice with a very girly flower on her hat. She's too cute.

Opps, a picture of Caleb snuck in. But he is playing on Alice's floor mat. Caleb has done so well with Alice's arrival...and it's clear that she brings out his infant side.

Alice's hair is so awesome. After a bath it's so fluffy, she gets a mohawk.

Christmas - It came, it went, it conquered

Christmas at the Patterson home was wonderful this year. Although it was Caleb's third Christmas, it was the first that he didn't sleep through. Alice however did sleep through it, but I'm sure she loved it all the same. Enjoy the pictures!

I received a head massager...it wasn't so relaxing to Caleb.

Santa put a pair of scissors in Caleb's stocking. He used them the rest of the day to cut ribbon and open gifts. It did slow down the opening process, but we were in no rush.
