Well it's been another month since the last post, but according to all of the pictures I just uploaded, we've been busy!
We had Wyoming visitors at the end of April who brought Alice this big ball - which she loved.
Here is Grandpa and Caleb watching Star Wars. Caleb is obsessed with these movies. We've let him watch a couple (some are still a little too mature), but he's really into the x-wings and spaceships. He even has Star Wars bedding for his room.
I thought I was going crazy because I kept seeing two different sizes of the same jammies floating around the house. I wasn't crazy...here are Caleb and Alice matching. Caleb LOVES to match Alice.
It's hard to get them both smiling at the same time.
Laughing at the same time though, that's easy.
It's boating season!! Last summer Alice was too little to participate much, this summer she's already in the driver's seat.
Caleb still loves being on the boat - thank goodness.
Tea party with froggie and rabbit.
August purchased an EZ Ski online for Caleb. It's fun inside...
And Out!! Caleb loves it! Last summer he was not a fan of being pulled behind the boat, but this summer I think he's really going to enjoy it...especially if we continue to bribe him with M&Ms.
Staying busy at home
Keeping each other busy during breakfast...talking is more fun when it's done under the table.
At almost 18 months, Alice is getting along quite well. She's extremely headstrong and independent - aka, she knows what she wants and when she wants it. She's learning the art of patience.
Caleb is just as intelligent and funny as ever! He claims he's the fastest, smartest, and funniest in his class. He also claims that he has the longest hair in his class. Caleb is still largely into trains...he has most recently memorized the first few pages of Polar Express, just from listening to it at night. He can also pull Alice in the wagon all the way to the park. He's excited for the neighborhood pool to open this weekend - so are we! It's time to start some swimming practice.
