Caleb turns 2!!

We have a 2 year old! Caleb celebrated in style this year - lots of cupcakes, candles, loving family and friends, and of course showing teeth.
Caleb got a train table for his soon to be new room. Here are all of the engineers setting up the track. It's more complicated than one might think.
Here is Caleb playing with his semi car hauler. So much fun!
Showing teeth again...
A very handsome train engineer.

Visit from G & G

Grandpa and Grandma Kate came to visit last weekend to celebrate Caleb's birthday. We took them to the lake house and spent an afternoon fishing off the dock.
August even caught a fish. According to the fish chart, this was a small white bass. He was very proud.
Here are the men, releasing the fish. Caleb was so fascinated. After the fish was back the water, Caleb kept saying "Fish went home." Hopefully the fish made it home...
We've been practicing "Smile" with Caleb when he gets his picture taken. At this point Caleb will only respond to "Show your teeth." So here is a picture of Grandpa, Caleb, and the pumpkin the carved...all showing their teeth.

Just Fishing

Deborah took this cute picture at the lake last weekend. Caleb has a new fishing pole (with plastic fish attached) so it's a 100% chance he'll catch something everytime...unless Dad casts the line and it breaks... I'll leave out the picture of August quickly jumping into the lake to save the fish.

Random Photos

While cleaning up the camera, I found these few photos.

Nana's Visit

Nana came to visit a couple weekends ago and she played quite a bit of basketball with Caleb. Caleb actually learned to shoot, rather than just dropping the ball into the basket. We had a great visit with Nana. Come back and visit soon - particularly in 10 weeks!

Caleb - Busy around the house

Caleb's baking future is bright...he enjoys making cookies with August. This batch of snickerdoodles was especially delicious.
I've been trying to figure out a way to get more closet space in the house. I like Caleb's idea here...
