Trip to the Park

We've been going to the playground down the street a lot lately. We particularly like to go after dinner so Caleb can get some energy out before bedtime. It was crazy to see him go down the slide on his own for the first time. There have been a lot of things that have made me think "Wow, he's not a baby anymore." But none so much as seeing him climb up onto the playground equipment and go down that slide all on his own. What a big kid!!

Nana's Visit

Nana came t visit over Easter weekend. We had a great time outside shooting hoops and watering plants. The weather was gorgeous. Come back and visit soon!

Easter

We had a great Easter...Caleb loved hunting for eggs at Grandma and Papa's and enjoyed his Easter basket. The orange guy from Nana did scare him at first though.

30 ROCKS!

I turned 30 this past week and we celebrated with friends on Saturday night. We had drinks and appetizers at a restaurant in downtown Overland Park and then everyone was kind enough to join me at another bar for some karaoke. It was a great evening...I feel very blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful friends!

Lauren had this awesome cake made. It was 4 different flavors...very yummy!

August got me a new camera for my birthday. And of course Caleb makes the perfect subject for taking all sorts of shots.

We are starting to notice that it might be time for Caleb's first haircut. He's getting a little rough around the edges and is sporting a baby mullet.

But doesn't he make having a mullet look fun?

Happy Birthday Grandma Deborah!

Grandma Deborah celebrated her birthday on Sunday and we just partied so hard, we didn't post a birthday greeting on time! Hope you had a wonderful birthday and we'll miss you while you are in STL.

Finally some fresh air!

We were able to get out of the house on Sunday and go for a walk. It was beautiful outside!

A week in the life of Caleb

Caleb was up to a lot this past week. He tried on his first tux for our friends Lauren and Ryan's upcoming wedding. Caleb is going to be one of two of the cutest ring bearers this side of the Mississippi!
